Certain items of the project "EU support to the Lankaran-Astara economic region of Azerbaijan" were discussed at the Agricultural Research Institute (ASRI) within the Focus Group Meetings on GZIT analysis of applied agricultural research and knowledge transfer systems in Azerbaijan.

The discussions were attended by Farman Karimov, Deputy Head of the Department of Plant Growing and Monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture, Faig Khudayev, Director of EETI, Garib Novruzlu, Deputy Director for Production, Masum Burak, Chief Expert on Fruit Crops, and participants from MA institutes and research institutes, representatives of the technical advisory team Selahattin Mermer, Ruhangiz Mammadova and Emil Asgarov.
