Yellow rust disease was monitored

A group of employees of the Agricultural Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture monitored yellow rust in Kurdamir, Sheki, Zagatala, Tartar and Tovuz regions. The monitoring was conducted by the director of the institute Faig Khudayev, the deputy director on production Garib Novruzlu and the senior researcher of the laboratory "Disease and pest control" Konul Aslanova.

During the monitoring, local yellow rust disease was observed in the fields of those regions. As part of the process, producers were recommended to conduct regular observations on grain crops where the disease is observed, and to take control measures in case of mass spread of yellow rust.
