An event was held on the display of high-yield wheat and barley varieties in farms

In the fall of 2022, demonstration plantings of more than 20 varieties of wheat and barley were carried out in 30 districts of the republic in order to cultivate high-yielding grain varieties in different soil and climate conditions and introduce them to farmers. Thus, with the participation of the Agrarian Services Agency, the Agrarian Training Center and the State Seed Fund, sowing was carried out in farms.

During the past period, relevant recommendations were regularly given to the farms on the agrotechnics of cultivation of those varieties and a number of measures were implemented.

One of those events took place in Beylagan district. Grain farmers and specialists of the region took part in the event. The 5 varieties of wheat and 2 varieties of barley in the field have attracted the interest of farmers with their high productivity. Interesting discussions were held on the topic.

After the event, the demonstration planting in Fuzuli district was inspected.
