Staff training, executes in a two way: PhD and dissertation. Number of people who entered as a PhD in 2016: 3103.07 – “Crop production” specialization – 1 person; PhD in “Agro chemistry” – 1 person; 3103.07 - “Crop production” specialization – 1 person, 3103.04 - “Selection and seed-growing” specialization – 1 person, dissertator in specialization of “Plant protection” – 1person; 3103.04 - “Selection and seed-growing” specialization – 2 person. It was ordered to interpolate the following number of places for applicants in PhD per specialization in 2016: 2411.02- “Plant physiology” specialization – 1 place; 3103.04- “Selection and seed growing” and PhD – 2 place; 3103.07 – “Plant growing”– 2 place, 3103.01- “General agriculture”- 1 place, 3103.06-“Plant protection”-1 place,  2511.01- -“soil sciences”- 2 place, 3101.01- “Agro chemistry”- 1 place, 2406.02- “Biochemistry” – 1 place, 3103.11- “Feed manufacturing and pastures” – 1 place. Here, at the institute, 12 doctors of philosophy, 12 doctors of sciences and 14 dissertators conducts various scientific-research works. During the report period, the following numbers of people have finished their education and got scientific degrees: 4 people as a doctor of sciences and 9 people as doctor of philosophy. In the 1st half of current report year: 1 person applied to the AAK in order to get a PhD degree in “Plant physiology” specialization and another one, got his/her PhD in “Plant growing”. On April 10 – 20; 2016,  Konul  Kamilpaşa  Aslanova  actively participated in the training course on “Training Workshop on Wheat Rust Surveillance, Resistance and Management” that was held in Izmir by  the research center of  Rust, which is also an associated part of FAO, TAGEM and ICARDA. In the first half of current year, 9 doctoral and PhD’s were attended in the training course on the “computer sciences” that was organized at the Institute of Informational Technologies of NAS (the National Academy Sciences).

 The permission on staff training with a method of PhD and doctoral studies was given to the Institute by, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 14, 2010 according to the regulation № 235.
