There was held next annual yearly report in Research Institute of Crop Husbandry

On 14.01.2019, there was held yearly report of “Plant selection” department. Abdin Abdullayev, PhD on Biology Sciences opened the meeting. Then A memorable memory of Asad Jannat Musayev  was commemorated with a minute of silence which is enriched the treasury of world agrarian science, the outstanding breeder-seed scientist of our time, a period of more than fifty years of his life dedicated to the sacred blessing of the wheat research,  which he has great services in the development of the National Agricultural Research System, for a long time headed the Agrarian Science Center and the Agricultural Research Institute, genuine science founder, public figure. Then, A.Abdullayev, head of department said that there is held 5 research on wheat, barley, corn and food legumes programs. Flora Ahmedova, Senior Researcher of Department of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology, Ph.D. on Biology, made a presentation on "Determination and Selection of Symptoms of Investigation and High Productivity of Morphophysiologic, Biochemical and Agronomic Indicators of Various Wheat Genotypes in Stress Conditions"; Askerli Roya, junior researcher on theme of "Creation, application and dissemination of new high productive and quality high quality autumn wheat varieties with durable, ecologically adaptive properties of various stress factors"; Khanbala Rustamov, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher of Plant Selection Department, on theme of "Creation, application and dissemination of winter hard wheat varieties which is resistant to biotic stress factors high yield, pasta and other technological qualities for irrigation conditions"; Hamid Hamidov, Head of Plant Selection Department, Ph.D. on biology sciences, on theme of “Creation, application and dissemination of new high productive and high quality autumn wheat varieties with resistant on ecologically adaptive properties of various stress factors" under work of "Creation, application and dissemination of high-productive and high-quality, disease-resistant winter bread and durum wheat adapted to appropriate, agrochemical conditions of different levels of moisture content”; Yusifov Emin, junior researcher in Shaki Support Base, on the theme of "Creation and application of bread and durum wheat varieties that can be adapted to appropriate agro-ecological conditions for regions with moisture content"; Azizova Namila, Head of the Disease and Pest Control Laboratory, Ph.D. on Biology science, on the theme of "Application of the level of spread of pests in wheat agrosynozis of the republic and selection of resistant wheat genotypes against major species"; Ibrahimov Etibar, leading researcher, Ph.D. on agrarian sciences, on the theme of "Research of the major diseases of wheat in various agro-ecological regions of the Republic and the creation of sustainable primary materials for selection with effective resistant genes to rust disease";  Gatiba Hasanova, head of Grain quality department, Ph.D. on agrarian sciences on the theme of “Application and dissemination of new high productive and high quality winter wheat varieties with durable, eco-adaptive properties”. Abidin Abdullayev, head of Plant Selection department, on the theme of "Creation, application and dissemination of new high yield and high quality winter wheat which has stress-resistant, environmental-adaptive, resistant to ecologically adaptive properties of various stress factors” under work of "Creation, application and dissemination of winter wheat varieties that meet the requirements of the baking industry, which are highly productive, quality and biotic stress-resistant for irrigation areas"; Garibov Zohrab, PhD in Plant Selection Department, on the theme of "Establishment, introduction and dissemination of seeds of high yielding barley varieties with durable, complex economic value, meeting the requirements of modern innovative agriculture" under Barley Program; Sevindik Dunyamaliyev, Leading Researcher and Ph.D. on agrarian sciences in the Department of Sustainable Cropping and Plant Diversification, on the theme of “Establishment, grouping, application and dissemination of maize varieties and hybrids that produce high green mass and yield resistant to biotic and extreme factors in various agro-ecological regions of Azerbaijan” under Corn Program; Atif Zamanov, deputy director on production, Ph.D. on biology sciences, docent, on the theme of “Creation of gene fund of feed crops, selection of resistant to stress factors, selection of quality and productive forms, creation of new varieties, organization and application of initial seeds” under feeding program; Mirzayev Rufat, PhD on biology sciences of Department of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology, on the theme of “Establishment of resistant to stress factors for different regions of the Republic, with high productivity and technological new varieties of chickpea and lentils and organization, research and dissemination of primary seed cultivation”. At the end, Javanshir Talai, Director of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry expressed his views on the presentations and wished success to future scientific research.
