Director of Agricultural Research Institute Attends Next Meeting of Azerbaijan Branch of International Academy of Sciences

On June 11, 2019, Director of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry Javanshir Talai attended the Extended Session of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan Branch of the International Academy of Sciences. President of the International Academy of Sciences Prof. Dr. Walter Kofler (Austria), Executive Director of the International Union of Science and Technology, Professor of the Academy of Sciences of China "One Strap, One Way", prof. Lin Yongxue and other foreign guests. The director of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry Javanshir Talyai and Director of the Institute of Research Institute of Vegetable-Growing Elmar Allahverdiyev represented the Agriculture Ministry.

Opening the meeting, Prof., Dr. Elchin Khalilov informed the participants of the event about the activities and achievements of the BEA Azerbaijan Branch over the years, and was welcomed by Prof. Dr. IAS. Valter gave it to Kofler. In his speech, he pointed out the activities of the BEA's Azerbaijan Branch over the years, in particular, in the integration of Azerbaijani science into world science, prof. Elchin praised Khalilov's services. Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Director General of the Azerbaijan National Culinary Center Tahir Amiraslanov and Prof. Dr., Georgia MEA Academician, Head of the Metrology and Standardization Department of the Azerbaijan Technical University Elchin Iskandarzade They were selected academics of the Azerbaijan Branch of the IAS and presented them with diplomas. Corresponding members of the IAS Azerbaijan Branch were also selected. The decisions were also taken at the BEA EU's "Medicine and Biology" and "Nutriciology and Gastrosofia" sections. The event was attended by the President of IAS AB, academician IAS RTEA, prof. 60th anniversary of Khalilov Elchin Nusret, Vice-President of IAS EU, academician IAS and RTEA, prof. Valiyeva Mahbuba Nabi's 70th anniversary celebrations were held. Director of the Institute of Agriculture ET, Javanshir Talai, in turn, is a Prof. Dr. Elchin congratulated Khalilov on the occasion of his 60th anniversary and wished new achievements in his work.

At the end of the event, it was decided to strengthen the scientific cooperation with the relevant departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Azerbaijan Branch of the IAS.
