Republic Consultation on Grain Extension held at Gobustan Regional Practice Station

Organized by the Agricultural Research and Research Institute of the Agrarian Science and Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Gobustan Regional Experience Station, which is part of its structure, on June 21, 2019 in Gobustan, dedicated to the demonstration of "New Grain Varieties, Technologies and Exemplary Sowing in Damian" Republic Consultation was held. The Gobustan Regional Practice Station, established in 1953, has been conducting research on wheat and barley varieties that have been imported locally and abroad since 2000, and produced 300-350 tons of highly elastic seeds reproduced on the basis of the distribution of the Ministry of Agriculture on state and private seed farms is given. Along with academics and specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and the relevant scientific-research institutes of ANAS, the farmers, agricultural producers, heads and experts of the DAIM participated in the meeting.

In the next few days, Dr. Imrali Hajimammadov, Head of the Laboratory of Soil and Plant Analysis Laboratory, gave information on the laboratory's activities, including agrochemical research methods, important agrochemical indicators, mineral and organic fertilizers, etc. and detailed information on the scientific data obtained from these studies was highlighted in agriculture and agriculture. A number of agrochemical laboratory devices were demonstrated to students visually and explained their working principle. Specifically, the amount of humus in soil, mineral nutrient elements (NPK) and their various embossing forms, soil pH and salinity indices, macro- and microelements determination methods and so on. students were informed about it.

Giving information about the agrophysical researches carried out in that laboratory, Nizami Hummatov noted that the agrophysical properties of the soil are very important and has acquainted students with a number of modern agrofizical devices and justified their work principle. The students demonstrated a variety of ground-based nodules, a device for determining the granulometric composition, a modern-type aggregate analyzer for determining mechanical strength and water resistance of the aggregates, modern-day devices that determine soil erosion and dehydration, and showed a range of soil-agrophysical properties (soil density , general and aerated porosity, mass and volume moisture, moisture reserves, etc.).

The experiment was completed in a mutual understanding and during the stay at the Agricultural Research Institute, memorial photographs were organized in the field of practice and in the laboratory.
